ESG Satinato / frosted / matte glass: custom-cut matte glass panels, 10 mm thick and thermally tempered, with rounded corners. Custom sizes up to 180 380 cm (1800 3800 mm), with ground and polished edges. ESG tempered safety glass is thermally toughened. As a result, it is considerably more stable than standard glass, particularly more resistant to impact and bending loads. It is also less sensitive when hot objects, for example, are placed on a glass table top. In the event of breakage, ESG disintegrates into small glass granules, minimizing the risk of injury. For these reasons, ESG tempered safety glass is used, for example, for table tops and as glass panels for door and window infills. ESG must not be further processed after manufacture, for example by drilling or sawing.
