What is Ramadan? During Ramadan, Muslims traditionally refrain from eating and drinking between sunrise and sunset for 30 days. This is one of the traditions associated with the five pillars of Islam, the fundamental duties that believers are expected to observe. After sunset, familiesand sometimes neighborsgather for a meal. To make the fasting period a little easier, this self-fill calendar provides a small countdown to the festival marking the end of the fast for both children and adults. Personalized with a name Parents often make a Ramadan calendar for children to help them understand that this time is something special. The countdown also builds anticipation for Eid al-Fitr. The Ramadan calendar is intended to encourage children to participate in fasting. For those who are less skilled at crafting, this self-fill calendar is a convenient option. It is printed on all sides and personalized with the desired name.
