Product features: 1-piece metric HSS 6542 machine tap with straight flutes, fully CNC-ground for high-quality machining. Nominal diameters: M48, M49, M50, M51, and M52. Pitches: 1.0, 1.25, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0 mm. Application: For tapping steel, iron, aluminum, and copper workpieces. Not suitable for tapping stainless-steel workpieces; for stainless steel, select an HSS M35 Co5% tap. Suitable for maintenance and repair work and for machining through-holes in alloy steel, die steel, cast iron, and ferrous and nonferrous materials.
